SERVICING TRUCKS & CARS FOR OVER 15 YEARS!

Norseman Mobile truck repair was founded by Jake Eshelman.  Jake's love of everything mechanical is hereditary.  He comes from a long line of car fanatics starting with his Grandfather who worked his way through high school as a mechanic at the Studebaker dealer in the 1950s.  Working on cars and fixing things that are broken runs in his blood and was encouraged from the time he could hold a wrench.  After high school, Jake completed one term of art school, decided that was not for him and switched to the the Diesel Technician program at Portland Community College.  After completing the PCC program, Jake went to work for Pape Kenworth, the largest Kenworth dealership in the Pacific Northwest.

In the 6+ years Jake was at Pape he worked his way up from newbie to shop foreman.  During this time he also received extensive factory training on Cummings engines, PACCAR engines, Kenworth trucks, as well as other manufacturers.  He also assisted the PACCAR customer service group in developing several new repair procedures.

After leaving Pape, Jake worked for TriMet for a short time before joining his friends business customizing 4x4 show trucks. This experience lit the entrepreneurial fire in Jake and he decided to start Norseman Mobile Truck Repair.
